Maya Breeze Inn is located in Maya Beach, approximately four miles down the 12 mile Placencia peninsula. The beach bungalows are on a private oceanfront beach and the hotel rooms are located on the second floor of the main lodge directly across the street from the beach facing the sea and tropical garden. There is a canal located just behind the main lodge that is connected to the Placencia Lagoon. The Inn is located approximately six miles north of the airstrip.

Maya Beach is in the narrowest part of the peninsula and has several small resorts with restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Just off of the beach is False Caye that has coral heads and an abundance of reef fish that make for great snorkeling. 

Two miles south of Maya Breeze Inn is Seine Bight, a small Garifuna Village. Following ancient cultural traditions, the villagers are proud of their heritage and their unique "garinagu" dialect.

Placencia village is located 8 miles south of Maya Breeze Inn. This village features the "narrowest" road in the world, as verified by Guiness Book of World Records. Along the "sidewalk", you can find local art, souvenir shops, carvings, and tropical and continental foods. Don't forget to try some wonderful desserts and gelatos.
